The Hindenburg.

2001: The roof of Mottaqi stadium in Sari, Iran, caves in during a soccer match after fans climb onto it to get a better view of the field. After the accident—in which two people are killed and hundreds injured—fans clash with anti-riot police attempting to make their way into the venue.

1999: A parole board in New York votes to release Amy Fisher, who had been in jail for seven years for shooting her lover’s wife, Mary Jo Buttafuoco.

1937:  The Hindenburg is engulfed by flames over Lakehurst, New Jersey, killing 36 people and ending the age of the airship. The disaster is broadcast live on the radio by Herb Morrison.
