Detroit Lions snap 26-game road losing streak

December 19, 2010—The Detroit Lions (4-10) snapped their NFL record 26-game road losing streak by defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-20 in overtime at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

Detroit’s next-most-recent road win came on October 28, 2007, a 16-7 win over the Chicago Bears.

The Lions also lost 24 consecutive road games between 2001 and 2003.
